On April 26th, the “Photo Exhibition of Whampoa Soldiers in Chinese Expeditionary Force” was officially exhibited in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the East Annex Building of Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
75 years ago, the Japanese army invaded Myanmar, trying to cut off the Yunnan-Myanmar highway and block the transportation channels of international aid materials to China. China government organized Chinese expeditionary forces to go abroad, supported allied countries in the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, wrote heroic epics with blood and life, and exchanged great sacrifices for the victory of China’s troops in foreign countries for the first time since the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, making important contributions to the victory of the anti-fascist war in Asia, the Pacific and the whole world. The “Photo Exhibition of Whampoa Soldiers in China’s Expeditionary Force” shows that a large number of Whampoa soldiers in China’s Expeditionary Force, with infinite loyalty to the country and the nation, fully participated in the battles in China, Myanmar and India, blocked the Japanese invaders with their flesh and blood, and created a magnificent war history that will last forever.
The exhibition is jointly organized by Jiaxing Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, Baoshan Museum and Guangdong Revolutionary History Museum, and lasts for one month. (Jiaxing Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall)
